Vinoture Design and Production House creates timeless lines of furniture made from retired wine casks. Honoring the legacy of the oak farmer, the cooper and the vintner, Vinoture captures the lyrical strength of the casks and transforms them into modern, elegantly designed furniture.

Each hand built piece is one-of-a-kind and tells its history through the rich tones of the wine-stained wood. Vinoture sets the standard for stylish, functional, and reclaimed products.

Ian Crawford

Montana born and bred, Ian brings a wealth of entrepreneurial experience to Vinoture™, not to mention his passion for the product. As an eighteen-year-old, Ian’s self-driven entrepreneurial spirit shaped his first business. Happy Hour Inc was the first and only mobile bartending business in Montana. Ian’s work hosting weddings and corporate events with The Valley Host, his second venture, honed the business savvy he carried through his clothing line and then the Taste of Kalispell, a valley wide event that showcased local businesses.

Growing up in Missoula, Montana Ian learned to recycle from day one, a practice he enthusiastically channels to the ethos of Vinoture™. Ian’s ardor for Vinoture™ stems from a profound respect for the cooper, the vintner and the artisan craftsman.

Jeremy Smith

Also a child of the West, Jeremy grew up between Portland, OR and Montana’s Rocky Mountains. Jeremy’s sixteen-year history as a furniture-designer and builder ensures Vinoture™’s sophisticated and timeless design. Furthermore, Jeremy’s years as an in-house engineer designing for a rehabilitation engineering firm compliments his infinitely gifted craftsmanship. Jeremy is the co-author of four U.S. patents and specializes in interior design as well as identity creation for local retailers and restaurateurs.

Jeremy’s oversight of the Vinoture™ Design & Production House promises that each individual Vinoture™ piece possesses poetic strength. Jeremy’s dedication to providing aesthetically stunning design through sustainable practices galvanizes Vinoture™’s mission.
